Tested version: sedan 3.2 V6 (shown)

CR Model Summary
The A6 has responsive and secure handling, with a firm yet comfortable ride. Available AWD provides good snow traction. The 3.2-liter V6 and six-speed automatic transmission make for a strong, polished powertrain. Fuel economy is relatively good. The seats are excellent, and the interior is well-finished and filled with nice details. The MMI driver-interaction system can be frustrating, with some simple functions requiring multiple steps. A wagon and 4.2-liter V8 are available, as is a V10-powered S6 high-performance sedan. IIHS crash-test results are impressive, and reliability has recently been above average.
