CR Model Summary
The LaCrosse's strengths include a comfortable and quiet ride, and good attention to interior details, which were sorely missing from its predecessors. Unfortunately, rear-seat room is tight, with meager knee and head room. Handling is fairly responsive. The standard 3.8-liter, V6 engine is thirsty and sounds coarse. Reliability has been above average. A 5.3-liter V8 was added for 2008 in the LaCrosse Super.
