Cadillac STS

Tested version: Luxury V6 (shown)

CR Model Summary
The STS is a very competitive sedan. Our tested 302-hp, 3.6-liter V6 was quick and responsive. An very pleasant 4.6-liter V8 is also available. Both engines use smooth and responsive automatics. The ride is firm yet supple; handling is taut and agile. The cabin is quiet. Interior quality is commendable and a few cheap touches were addressed in the 2008 freshening. We found rear-seat room to be relatively tight and cabin access a bit difficult. A sporty, supercharged STS-V is also available. Reliability has improved to average for the V6 RWD but is below average for other versions.
