The Night vision rating is a judgment of image clarity in a dark place, using standard back up lights. Width and height refers to the area of view provided by the video camera, as measured on a target placed five feet behind the vehicle's rear bumper. 6-inch object is the minimum distance from the back bumper, in inches, that the backup camera can display an object standing just 6-inches tall on the pavement. Overall score reflects the judgments of viewing area and clarity of the images the camera could display in daylight and darkness.
