I'm a big fan of this product line and the cleaner wax didn't disappoint. <br /><br />I applied it to my meticulously maintained 2000 Cadillac DTS and was very impressed with the outcome. The wax was very easy to apply and remove with an old T-shirt. No buffer was required to get the desired shine. <br /><br />It rained several times over the week after application and no water spots remained after it dried. I applied 2 coats to the hood, top and trunk areas just to be safe.<br /><br />You can't go wrong with this product. Good luck!

I purchased a Meguire's smooth surface clay kit that contains the cleaner wax which does an excellent job, is easy to apply and polish. I will use this cleaner again.My car is black in color and this polish has done an excelent job, just doesn't last very long, 4 months at best.

There are few tasks I hate more than waxing a car, so I've avoided doing so for literally decades. Recently, however, the cumulative effects of the Florida sun on our black car's finish became all too apparent after I used a spot cleaner to remove splattered remnants of this fall's love bug swarm. Cursing my fate, I checked CR's reviews, selected Meguire's Cleaner Wax as my punishment of choice, and decided to tackle just the hood, with all its new shiny spots glaring out from the previously evenly-hazed finish. <br /><br />The result? I wound up cleaning/waxing the entire car in less than 45 minutes without a single grunt uttered, and marveling at the new car glitter from our eight year old vehicle. Better still, my neck and shoulder didn't ache and my arms didn't feel like soggy noodles (as they'd done on my previous, far more-youthful, efforts). <br /><br />I can't yet speak to the durability of this finish, but it's so easy to apply/remove I may consider using it again next year, whether the car needs it or not. ;-)
