Consistency is forgiving, almost like a gel; it spreads very well but, by all means, do not forget and let it dry to a very hard finish or it is EXTREMELY difficult to rub off! I think the results are worth it but you do have to proctor it and monitor it for removal, this is a critical area; I forgot to remove a rear quarter panel over night, a few years ago (on fiberglas also), and I paid heck getting it off - I even considered using rubbing compound to get it off. In hot, dry weather I usually can remove it in a as you go method (start at front left quarter and continue to center of trunk then return to left front to remove. HOWEVER, if it's rainey or very high humidity than you must watch it and go by feel and/or tack. All in all it's been a good product for my , not yet, vintage Corvette. Price is a good value.
