Comment:
typically the GPS is used when going to some place we ar unsure about. Have taken several trips usingit and it finctioned perfectly. As we have had this unit for 3 1/2 years the battery no longer charges, have to keep it plugged in to power port. The batery life was never it strong suit. I did open it up with hopes of replaceing the battery, but it was hidden or buried in the electronics. After 1 year the unit kept requesting a map update, but I was not willing to spend $45 to do so, it did not come with lifetime Maps. We have been happy with the Garmin's performance.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
