The Start 55 works well enough for occasional use and has a large display. But the mounting bracket is shoddy. The TomTom software took a LONG time to correctly install and update the maps. The software is less user-friendly than other GPS devices I have used. For a bonus the software will start every time you turn on your computer and open the TomTom support page until you can figure how to disable that feature.
