Comment:
90% of the time it grabs the satellite and we go. Slow times are up to a minute. Don't expect perfection with directions (probably typical of all GPS.) At one traffic circle under construction it wanted me to take a turn that was no longer there. I managed. I like the voice, clear and loud at 70% volume, even with my radio on. The TomTom suction device is clever -- a turn of a knob anchors the suction cup to my windshield; another turn releases it -- cool. And there's no tell-tale mark on the windshield. The 5 screen is adequate for touch controls, although I'm guessing folks with wide fingertips might find it ok, but annoying.
How long have you owned it:
One-to-three months
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
