Comment:
I have P195/65R15 Hankook Optimo H727s on a 2008 Prius. I was very satisfied for 18,000 miles. Now with 25,000 miles these tires are so noisy that I will switch even with lots of tread left. I rotated the tires every 5,000 miles except for one 8,000 mile period. I am disappointed to see these tires still get a high rating for noise. That's not consistent with my experience.

I am a conservative driver. These tires made me feel like a teenager on wet roads. I would spin the tires when starting up on wet pavement from a stop sign. I was nearly in an accident when I applied my brakes on a wet road in order to turn right. I went sliding straight ahead for about 30 feet! I was going no more than 30mph when I applied the brakes. I'm getting different tires after 30,000 dangerous miles. If I only drove in dry weather I would be fine, but these tires are very unsafe in wet weather.

I've owned 2 sets of these so far with over 40,000 miles experience with them.<br />LONG TERM - I didn't rotate them soon enough and they started making noise, a LOT of noise. (If you look at a lot of reviews of these tires you will find this is not an isolated problem after about 30,000 miles) So I said, my bad I didn't rotate them, I'll get 2 more. Yesterday it was raining and I was turning the corner and had to accelerate to do so and the tires starting slipping under load. These are a good tire but I wouldn't rate them a great tire. Rotate the tires, my bad.
