I purchased my set of Toyo Open Country AT's for my 2005 Toyota Tacoma a bit over 3 years ago. I only got about 30,000 miles out of them. Definitely save your money and buy something else. I purchased mine through Discount Tire, and have replaced them with a set of Cooper Discoverer ATP's (same tire as the Cooper Discoverer AT3's but made specially for Discount Tire). Great tread and look, and I won't think about buying another Toyo.

I put these tires on my truck that I mainly drive around in bad weather or when I need to haul something and they easily lasted me 5 years. I believe they are like an 8 or 10 ply and seemed a little stiff in the beginning but that is to be expected with a ply that high. Overall, these have been great tires.

I'm on my 3rd set. The previous two lasted 70,000 miles. Here in the NW, it rains a lot, so I had these siped and they handle in the rain extremely well. I also ski in the winter and have never had to put chains on in the last 8 years. Don't know about other parts of the country, but in Portland, these are great tires.
