The tires definitely fulfilled my expectations. They have good wet & dry grip, a comfortable ride and are pretty tough when used on fire and stone roads. The downside is that they lasted 4 years/41000 miles, and had to be replaced due to dry rot. They still had about half the tread left on them but were badly cracked between the tread & the side walls. They were on a Yukon Denali XL and saw some light off road work and a good bit of snow, Pennsylvania weather will do that sometimes. IF your hard on tires they may be a good choice. However, I was disappointed with the deterioration in just 4 years, maybe I'm expecting too much.... I would recommend them to a friend if they were not going to keep their vehicle for a long time

104,000 kms or about 65000 miles on the Yokohama Geolander AT-S tires. Highway and city driving in southern Alberta where the weather is a story of it's own. Only time we get stuck is where most heavy equipment operators think twice to drive. Excellent ride, no noise, superior tread life, great fuel mileage on my 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe and just put on a brand new set for another 100,000 k! (if the truck can hold up that long!)

I put these tires on my 4 WD Suzuki Gran Vatara before shipping the car to Nicaragua where I have long Pan Am Highway distances, and critical rough road travel to get to my house, through the jungle, on unpaved roads sometimes through mud and water. I didn't realize how bad they were until I changed to Bridgestone ATs. I was stuck in sand, light mud, and spun out in the dust twice. Never again.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
