I have the tires put on in Fall and removed in Spring. My 2000 Honda Odyssey minivan performs so much better in winter with them. This is the 4th season for them and there is about half the tread life left.
I have noticed weather checking this year, but think part of it is them getting put on and taken off the wheels 2x a year.
These tires are not the best on ice, but love to play in the snow, deep snow and no sign of fishtail, sloppy maneuvering. Nothing. Nada. We put them on a civic hybrid, and a Chevy Prism with great success.

Can't wait until my next set! I am looking for a second set of steel wheels to keep them mounted. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow!

I have these on a 2010 Yukon XL and the truck is a tank with these. I don't even notice a difference with ride or noise. Not noisy at all on the truck, but a little noisy on my Buick LaCrosse. This is my second pair on the truck and I would definately buy again.

I live in a very harsh winter area of the Northeast and have been running these tires for the last 8 years on both of our cars. The traction is unbeatable. I change back to a less aggressive tire for the summer because these wear fast. Its a pain but worth it for the winter driving peace of mind.
