I bought these when I purchased a used Acura TL in July of 2009. I live in central NJ so the sun is not as intense as say South Florida, but we have had some brutal winters with lots of salt trucks on the highways. These lasted nearly 3 years before they started to streak and make some noise. I know most don't get that kind of performance, guess I was lucky!

I have tried the Rain-X blades and I was very disappointed with the performance. The Bosch blades have worked excellent every time I have used them. I change blades once a year and have never had any problems with these at all.

I've tried many different blades and purchased cars that had different types on them and I also find myself waiting for a sale to put these on there. Disclaimer: I have not tried any of the valero blades. I have had a few different rain-x blades not the latest beam design because I had such poor results with other models. <br /><br />One of the things the I like the most about these is how quiet they are. I agree that after 6 months they due become worn but they remain quiet. I genereally replace them every year.
