I have had these wipers on for more than a year now, and they still work well, especially in conjunction with the Rain-x wipe treatment on the windshield.

For the folks who have said they start streaking- I wipe down the blades with a wet cloth or sponge once a month, and it really makes a difference. Small debris can get in the wiper grooves which can cause the streaks. A good wipe and then spray with a hose and they keep working good as new.

More than a year after purchase, and the rubber material is still intact, with no nicks or other degradation. This is the big difference I have found with these blades compared to others. These are very durable.

I would have given five stars but- when the driver side wiper gets to the top of the cycle and then starts down again, a small amount of water drags back with the blade when it changes direction. This is likely due to the specific aerodynamics of my car. A minor annoyance, as once the blade gets about an 1/8th of the way on its down cycle, the few drops blow off the side of the windshield. Otherwise the swipe totally clears the windshield, spotlessly and streak-free.

As with any wiper blade- Regularly clean the blades! It makes a big difference.

Several years ago I needed to replace my wipers and decided to get a of pair low profile all-season wipers. I live in Michigan so have to drive through snow and rain. I purchased the Bosch evolutions (on sale), and was impressed. Passesngers even commented on how great they worked in the winter. While the performance remained great, after a few years they began squeeling horribly, so last spring I replaced them.

I purchased the Rain-X blades (thankfully, on sale) based on the ConsumersReports rating before my annual 2,000 mile roundtrip fishing expedition . I was immediately disappointed - the blades left numerous streaks and gaps. The were the correct size, but didn't seem to fit my 2005 4Runner's windshield properly. I tried cleaning the wipers with rubbing achohol and bending them so they would completely touch the windshield. No use - the blades left streaks and did not operate smoothly. In addition, the design of the Latitudes seems lacking since the connection to the wiper arm is open to the elements (not a nice fit and finish as compared to Bosch's).

6+ months later, the Latitude wipers were actually hazardous since it was difficult to see whenever there was precipitation on the windshield, so I replaced them with Bosch Icons last night (so far they work great - I will do a review of those in a few months). The Icons have the same type of connection as the Evolutions, which results in a far better appearance than the Latitudes. The Latitudes connection is completely open to the elements, which would seem to get iced up in the winter.

Maybe I bought a bad pair of Latitudes, but so far my experience with the Bosch blades is much more favorable.
