F Forward Firestreet scooters sold at Target stores
Handlebars, wheels, and brakes can break and detach, causing rider to lose control, fall and, possibly, suffer injuries.
Products: 185,000 aluminum scooters, model number BZ 020 SP, sold 2/04 through 7/06 for about $24. Scooters are red or blue and have a fold-down frame. "F Forward" logo is on the stem, wheel, or base deck. Target has received five reports of incidents and fall injuries resulting from breaking or collapsing parts, including a fractured arm, cracked teeth, bruises to the head, face and arm, a cut toe, and scratches.
