Swapping a range for a cooktop and wall oven is appealing. The look is modern and you have some flexibility where you install the appliances. Place the wall oven at a height that works for you, making it easier to reach in and eliminating bending. But the cooktop-wall oven combo is more expensive than most ranges. Our Ratings include electric smoothtop, induction, and gas cooktops. Electric wall ovens are the big sellers so that's what we test and you'll see single oven and double oven in our Ratings. Consumer Reports offers you buying advice that you can trust. We provide unbiased Ratings and reviews to help you choose the best appliance for your needs and budget.
