Keeping Consumers Informed
We provide our safety information to consumers free of charge. But the research and reporting that goes into our safety information is costly to our organization.
The mission of our Safety & Recalls initiative is to reduce the number of unsafe products in the marketplace and in the homes of consumers.
The generosity of CR donors provides the resources we need to address critical issues on consumer safety and education. Thanks, in part, to this support and our intense efforts, the Consumer Product Safety Commission rolled out a public-safety incident database that allows consumers to file personal safety complaints about products and read about problems others have had.
