Comment:
I connected a Sansung BD-E5700-ZA player to a Sony 1080p KDL-46XBR3 TV mfg in Dec 2006. Loaded a Blu-ray disc into the player and received an unsupported signal message on the TV screen. I contacted Samsung and Sony support on this issue via phone and email. Email from Sony suggested reducing the Samsung resolution to 1080i. No change on Sony TV. I then connected the Blu-ray player to a Samsung TV, and disc played at 1080p OK. I received a phone call from Samsung support. suggesting a reduced resolution to 720p. I reconnected to the Sony TV, reduced the Blu-ray player resolution to 720p, and the disc played. This was not a satisfactory solution. I then purchased a Sony Blu-ray Player which played the Blu-ray disc with 1080p resolution on the Sony TV. I was also not satisfied with the lack of email support from Samsung on this issue. I think they don't want any record of this issue.

Comment:
When using their wireless feature continuously dropped connection. Finally wired it to a lan connection and less than 1 month later the lan port went out. Their tech service tried every excuse to blame the problem on the router, connection etc. I finally told them I tried the connection with anoter device and no problems. I was promised an Email within 24 hours 3 days later I find out they still had not processed the return. I was then told if it can't be repaired I would have to accept a refurbished unit with only a 90 day warrenty. when asked why not a new player or fully new warrenty on the refurbished they would not accept. I would not purchase this again especially from this company
