Wifi doesn't work

I was never able to get the wifi to connect to my home network. When I contacted LG, they told me to upgrade the software and it should work. However, if you can't connect to the network, its really hard to upgrade the software. Wifi never worked out of the box. Since reading other consumer reviews of this product on other websites, I'm finding Consumer Reports isn't as reliable no was in the past.
