This unit provides very good picture quality in either DVD or Blu Ray.<br />Sound connects available are adaquate best is digital optical.<br />Reliability and warranty are the problem areas,used the blu ray a couple of times in the first 12 months but that function failed.(DVD still works fine.) Manufacture warrants unit for 90 days only and will not correct failures beyond 90 days.
