It worked good for about a year, then it went bad, comes on but does not work. HAving been an electronics tech myself I looked inside, power supply is putting out the right voltages, but main board does not do it's job, not much to do but replace the whole unit. No abuse, no power surges, nothing, just went in the blink with sporadic use of maybe once a month. A real piece of garbage.

Never was able to get Netflix working after hours of unsuccessful troubleshooting. I have Netflix working through other devices in my home. Have WiFi fuctioning laptop as well. Wish I had those 4 hours back. Upset my wife and kids had to go without for the evening. Returned the unit the next day to store I bought it from.

Bought this for the dvd player but mostly to stream Netflix and others. Even after upgrading the firmware the player evidently will not maintain a network connection, and never will stream a full movie. I have to set my laptop next to it and stream from it - never lost a connection with it. Pretty much junk in that it is completely useless for what I purchased it for.<br /><br />My internet speed is fine - almost 30 gb
