Never was able to get Netflix working after hours of unsuccessful troubleshooting. I have Netflix working through other devices in my home. Have WiFi fuctioning laptop as well. Wish I had those 4 hours back. Upset my wife and kids had to go without for the evening. Returned the unit the next day to store I bought it from.

Unreliable network connection

Good Quality Dvd Playback
Cons
Poor Connections
Slow Load Time

Comment:
Bought this for the dvd player but mostly to stream Netflix and others. Even after upgrading the firmware the player evidently will not maintain a network connection, and never will stream a full movie. I have to set my laptop next to it and stream from it - never lost a connection with it. Pretty much junk in that it is completely useless for what I purchased it for.

My internet speed is fine - almost 30 gb

Comment:
I bought this blu-ray BECAUSE I USED to believe in Panasonic products...NO MORE...I have had this only 5 months, the only reason why I bought it is because it had the built in LAN adapter so I could stream Netflix. I have had problems with hooking up to Netflix since day one...but now after 5 months the adapter is totally not working AND I HAVE TO PAY for the shipping to get Panasonic to repair the machine..they will not even consider getting me a new one...NEVER WILL I BUY NOR RECOMMEND panasonic again
How long have you owned it:
Three-to-six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
