Opened Blu-Ray box this a.m. Easy to set-up as there are not many output choices. Put batteries in the remote, no response from the player. I put in a brand new set of triple AAAs but no improvement. I went on-line to Toshiba support. This must be a common issue as it is featured prominently in support FAQ. It was suggested that I could reset the remote by taking out the batteries than pressing each individual button on the remote for 2 seconds. After this silly exercise, I reinstalled the batteries and was sure that would solve the problem. Another solution offered was to buy another remote from them on-line. It goes back to Best Buy in the morning.

A month or less
