Comment:
We bought this to go with our new AG 55 inch flatscreen. Hookup was simple until I tried to link the sound-bar to the TV. That stretched the 3 ft. Digital Audio cable that came with it, and wrecked it. After an hour on the phone with a very helpful Sony customer service rep, we figured out the problem, I went to Radio Shack, bought a good 6 ft. digital audio cable, and hooked it up easily. It sounds great. Sony should not sell this product with the flimsy, thin 3 ft. cable they include in the package.

Comment:
This soundbar is a great alternative to the cumbersome surround sound system that requires wires to be run all over the house. The surround sound effect is probably not as good a multi speaker wired system, but is a great improvement over the TV speakers. Very simple hookup with one coaxial cable (not provided) to the blue ray and one small cable (provided) to the TV. Wireless sub-woofer works great.

This is perfect for anyone who wants good sound, easy installation, and simple operation! We are absolutely delighted with every aspect of this unit. Just so you know, it replaced a Bose Lifestyle Surround System and sounds light years better than the Bose.
