When I looked at the ratings, I was impressed with the system and bought it. It took about 4 days before I began encountering problems with my Blu Ray/DVD playback on this unit. It would just unexpectedly shut down my video and audio. I downloaded the manual and followed their instructions on set up, I replaced my blu ray and HDMI cable. Problem continued. Very frustrating. I took it back to the store and ran into a customer that was returning the same unit because of problems with the sub-woofer. Two bad units equals a problem for buying a third. The tech said maybe they had a bad batch but I was disappointed and returned the unit.

Ive had the Yamaha for over a month and love the sound for sports and movies. I dont have anything bad to say about the system, but I wish the sub-woofer would shut off when the system is shut down.
