At first it was a spendy portable speaker but it was also one of the first quality portable bluetooth speakers on the market. Looking back a couple years it was one of the best purchases I have made. I have had cars with Bose systems and the noise cancelling headphones and while there may be better options out there you cannot go wrong with Bose. I have taken this speaker on family trips all over the country and it is great for having background music for get togethers suchs as parties and the holidays.

This was purchased for my husband and me to use around the house. We have it paired with 3 devices. (MacBook Pro, iPhone and iPad) It pairs easily. However, connectivity is tricky. Only one of those devices can have its Bluetooth on at a time to connect to the Bose Speaker. Once you turn on the Bluetooth to only the device you want to connect and play off of, it connects like a charm. The only concern is that the sound skips out at times. I have tried checking the distance from the device it's using... too close or to far...but that hasn't seemed to make a difference. Time to call Bose. Perhaps mine is faulty. We have other Bose products and have always had great experience with their customer service...VERY accommodating.

I got this as a gift and used it multiple times at parties and at our lake house. Love it. Everyone talks about the sound quality for such a small speaker. It's easy to use and very portable.
