After 2 months of use a white line developed in the middle of the screen. It never went away.

Poor quality. And the remote does not work well, either.
How long have you owned it:
One-to-three months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Cons

Comment:
We owned this frame for a little over a year and were satisfied with the image quality.

Recently, a static shock to the outside of the frame caused the image to disappear (fried circuit?). I called Pandigital to complain, but they would not stand by their product because it was one month outside of the warranty. Frustrated.
How long have you owned it:
More than six months
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Took them back after I bought them

Comment:
Bought them and took them back the next day. The 1GB memory is great except it is not ideal for updating the photos. You have to use a fire wire. Some do have a USB slot which is the way to go. We already owned a Kodak model which I have to say it much better. Going to purchase the sony or kodak versions since the frames are more attractive.
How long have you owned it:
A month or less
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
