Comment:
Bought this laptop mainly for programming use. Its large screen and resolution is perfect for coding. Haven't tested much gaming on this ... but it performs better than my dedicated gaming rig on my initial tests.

Palm rest is never hot. My Macbook Pro used to burn my lap and palms after a few hours use ... not the case with this laptop.

The keyboard is solid. Keys have a decent travel, are evenly spaced. My keyboard is a Quebec keyboard (gah!), so it's got a funny position of the shift key and backslash.

I installed a 256GB SSD to boost performance and the laptop boots in < 5 seconds from being cold off.
How long have you owned it:
Three-to-six months
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
