Great for gaming and photo/video editing, it does it all. With USB 3.0 ports x4 and 2 hard drive bays it allows great storage options. Also with 4 RAM slots there is plenty of room for tons of memory, up to 32gb. Sound tends to be flakey on my unit but turning off the special effects has cleared that. The touchpad can be turned on or off by double-tapping the small icon on the touchpad's upper-left corner but that then illuminates the icon on the pad with a very bright and distracting white LED light underneath. One you have your hands on the keys you cover the pad/light so it's not bad when typing.
