Jams Easily
Slow Operation
Best Uses
This all in one is horrible. Jams virtually every time trying to print on thicker paper - meaning that it doesn't print on photo paper or card stock. Talking on the phone line that is hooked up to the fax port makes the printer functions inoperable - so, no printing while anyone is on the phone. No shutting the printer off to resolve an in-error error code; the stupid thing makes the power off button inoperable and insists that every door on the machine be opened and closed before it will work again. Once it decides the ink is low, no more printing allowed. I had a Lexmark for years (Windows 8 not supported, so had to get a new printer) that did all of these functions flawlessly...maybe I'm just spoiled.

Purchased this printer after much research for a dependable, less expensive all-in-one. Fits my needs very well. I do not do a lot of heavy printing, scanning or copying (probably print or copy a couple dozen or so sheets per day with light scanning as well). I have no complaints about the quality of printed material and regardless, I am not looking for extremely high quality printing. Scans quickly and efficiently. I cannot speak on the fax aspect of the machine as I have not used it nor have I done any photo prints as that is not what I bought it for anyways. Ink use seems very efficient as I am still using the starter cartridges that came with the machine. Very quiet operation unlike my Canon which clunked and whirred and shaked quite loudly when I would copy or print. Installation not too much trouble either. I've read reviews where people complained about the flimsyness of the unit but if you aren't rough with the unit (slamming cover shut, flinging cover open, ramming paper tray in or yanking it out hard) you should be fine. Overall, very happy with it for the money and wouldn't hesitate to buy again.

Where else can you fine a printer that has Scan, Fax, Photo printing, Two sided printing, Auto document feeder, Document quality Great.Uses far less ink that most. Ink Cart are in front of priter and very easy to relace. Free life time support, if you should ever nee it <br /><br />Cons: Picture quality is good but not great. Takes a lttle longer that most to print.
