About - Canon Pixma MG5320
---
The Canon Pixma MG5320 is an all-in-one inkjet printer with scan and copy functions, and Wi-Fi networking. It works with both Windows and Mac OS. Individual cartridges for each color let you change only the ones that are empty. The capacity of the main paper tray is 150 sheets, a typical size. There's a second tray for full-size paper, allowing you to load letterhead paper, for instance. The printer can print directly on inkjet-printable CDs and DVDs. The printer has a medium-size 2.8-inch display screen that can preview photos to be printed from a memory card. Like most color printers, the Canon Pixma MG5320 has a memory-card reader, which can accept these types of memory cards: Memory Stick, MultiMedia, Secure Digital. It has PictBridge for direct printing from cameras. You can connect directly to a PC with a USB cable, or to your network router wirelessly with Wi-Fi.

Setup is easy, and it works very nicely, but I have already spent over $100 on print cartridges since the end of October 2012 (3 months ago). I make about 25 to 30 copies a week. Seems too expensive for me.

I thought this was an easy straight forward set up. I had no problems. This is our 3rd Cannon Printer in 20 years, I have always been a fan of Cannon printers, never had one go bad.

Comment:
Have had this printer about six months and have not had any problems. The ink cartridges right out of the box are the standard factory cartridges and don't contain a lot of ink, so they will need replacing fairly quickly after start up. Out of the box the printer goes through several minutes of head cleaning and alignment for the first few print sessions, so don't be in a hurry for a print. Now though it is a lot quicker and spits multiple pages out faster than my old HP Inkjet. Overall I'm quite pleased with this printer, and the wireless capabilities makes it easy to setup other computers in the house as well. The only downside is that it's a little noisy.
