Comment:
Home use for printing and work, color, black and white, copying, scanning. Reasonable printer for cost. Moving from UK to US the printer would not use cartridges from the US. Had it for a couple years then after a power outage gave a missing cartridge error that would not clear. Since cost of new printer head was about half the cost of a new printer, and wasn't sure it would fix the issue, decided to replace it. Disappointed.

I have an IMAC. The driver is poor. Scanning is a real challenge as is copying photos. I have had HPs for years but this is the most difficult to use. It also seems to use ink at a high rate. The only reason I bought it was my revious HP died and it was cheaper to buy this one since I had unused cartridges on hand.

Comment:
I bought this printer especially to print photos, along with routine text printing. I continue to be extremely disappointed in its ink problems. All was well until I began to replace ink cartridges. EVERY time I replace, I have severe printing problems. I cleaned print heads before it was a month old. With each replacement, I have to remove the cartridges and clean again. Prints are often streaked, or one color dominates. I very much regret buying this printer.

No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
