Prints good photos which I rarely do. One feature I wanted since it's so common anymore, was auto duplexing. I found this to be unusable since the ink was so heavy it was very visable on the opposite side. I tried economy (which I usually run my HP's in all the time) and draft but these were too light to be very usable. I found a density setting but it reset to 100% after each print. There may be a way to permanently set it or I could go to 24 pound paper which would sorta defeat the purpose. In the mean time I got tired of fighting the paper trays and returned the printer. Two input trays - xtra one for photo paper and cds. I thought the cd might be neat until I realized I don't listen to cds anymore and we usually put photos and videos on flash drives. Check out Lon YouTube review if you're thinking of buying. Also all the cartriges were on low when I returned it and I didn't feel I'd used it that much.

Maybe good printer for some people but not me.
How long have you owned it:
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
