The first time I had to replace an ink cartridge, there was trouble. The cyan stopped working. I did without it for awhile, but when I had to replace the black ink, it didn't work either. When I ran the cleaning option, the printer stopped recognizing the new black cartridge. The printer stopped even printing spotty pages. I called for technical help. A new cartridge was sent. It was recognized, but cyan suddenly was not. The ink was to be over nighted, but never arrived. I called a third time. The cyan is going to be overnighted again. I won't hold my breath. I have been weeks without the use of this printer, and doubt a cyan ink cartridge will be the answer---if it ever arrives. When the tech asked if I was satisfied with the service I had received, I laughed and told him how satisfied I really am.

When it works properly - it is wonderful. Printing quality is awesome. Then you have to change ink Cartridges - that's where it gets bad. I just installed a new BK cartridges this morning and did a nozzle check and printed the results. it was a little bad so I re-did it. Then it now tells me that I need to replace the cartridge!!!!! Awful just Awful ... this is actually the second time it did this to me!

We wanted the product as a network photo printer and to wireless print fom my Surface Pro and my wife's Ipad Air. The first XP-610 was returned a few days after purchase as a DOA. The second unit would not network with our router reporting the problem as weak signal and wrong password. The printer was a metre away from the router and we regularly use laptops 20 metres away throgh brick walls to network with the router. They report the signal as strong at this distance. Then tried to network direct from the printer to the Surface Pro and Ipad. It worked for the Surface but not the Ipad. Epson suggested a fix that did no more than stop both tablets from connecting.<br />We kept the second unit for two days before giving it away as it was never going to meet our needs.
