Comment:
can not set up the wireless, it shows that is set up has blue light on, but when you try to print says offline. Haven't be able to find help it states that HP no longer supports this item, so why do they sell it.

Contrary to the other reports ours is fine!

Easy To Use

Re-setting the balance on these reviews! Ours has been fine, though it is too early to comment on reliability. It was particularly easy to change it from one wireless router to another when we changed our ISP. A bit more advanced than the Deskjet 500 I started with decades ago.
How long have you owned it:
Three-to-six months
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

After trying for three days to install this on an older Windows 7 system, I gave up and traded it for a Canon PIXMA. The HP software simply refuses to install the print driver for either USB or WiFi connection, despite installing the Scan function perfectly. It also printed easily from my iPhone via AirPrint, but no amount of struggling would get the Windows driver loaded, including use of the HP Print Doctor. I'm a computer systems Master Technologist who has installed probably a hundred HP printers over 30 years, so it's not an experience/skill issue. Unless you're setting this up on a brand new system, I'd look elsewhere.
