I bought this printer especially to print photos, along with routine text printing. I continue to be extremely disappointed in its ink problems. All was well until I began to replace ink cartridges. EVERY time I replace, I have severe printing problems. I cleaned print heads before it was a month old. With each replacement, I have to remove the cartridges and clean again. Prints are often streaked, or one color dominates. I very much regret buying this printer.

I don't know why others have had issues with this printer. The connectivity works great, installing ink or paper is easy. I have printed photos from afar onto this printer using the apps. Maybe I was just lucky and got a good one. Always have bought HP and not had any problems. Purchase new ones for the improved photo quality, or connectivity.

The HP 7525 has given me nothing but frustration. The initial set up was difficult, but I was eventually able to get several laptops connected and printing. The next day no one in my house was able to print and the printer status was offline. The printer reported that it was connected to the network with a valid IP address, but none of the computers could connect to the printer. I made several calls to the HP Support line, but they could not fix the problem. I was using the USB cable to print until I could find time to return the printer to Costco. Suddenly the black ink stopped working. I noticed on the HP Support forum that others have had this problem as well. I called HP and they walked me through cleaning the printer heads. After reinstalling the printer head the printer reported a failure in the printer's ink system. It is unbelievable how bad this product performs and HP should recall this defective product. I am waiting for them to replace the printer under the warranty. <br /><br />Please take my advice and don't waste your time buying this printer.
