This is a very basic virusscan software for any computer. It does its job and it is not pricey. The performance has been improved quite a bit compared with the older versions that I had used before. Overall, it is worthy to buy this software.

still makes your system slow but not so bad

I think this year McAfee virus software has been improved a little compared with all previous versions. Upon installation, my computer system was still slowed down but not as bad as last year when the software froze my system. So far, the software has been scanning viruses pretty well. Definitely McAfee has tried to improve their softwares.
