Norton Internet Security 2005 (Full Product, PC)

Strength
Fully integrated antivirus software with firewall and anti-spyware filtering; user-friendly UI; in-depth system scans; constantly updated by Symantec.
Weakness
AI can register false-positives from time to time rendering some programs to become inaccessible all of a sudden - not an easy task to troubleshoot when no warnings were issued beforehand.
LiveUpdate can use some tweaking since it uses a ton of memory; a pain to re-install if your computer, let's say, had to be re-imaged; subscription licensing (similar to Microsoft) really sucks.

Bought a 3000 euros laptop. NIS came pre-installed along with a Office 2003. Had to disable Norton to be able to open an EXCEL file that I created myself! And no, there was no virus on this computer. I work with computers since the 80's. I'm an IT professional, and never caught a virus on any of my computers! EVER!... Well, except for this NORTON software, which acts like a virus itself! License expired... keeps asking me to renew... NO THANKS! EVER! No more NORTON / SYMANTECH software for me. I've taken my shots against this virus.

Strength
Very complete program. Updates work well
Weakness
Firewall causes some conflicts with other programs.
Norton System Works is a complete security solution. It's well worth the extra few dollars above buying just the AntiVirus software. I trust Norton to protect my system. Installation was easy and straightforward. Some conflicts initially with the firewall. Tech support is also good.
