I just bought G Data and was excited abbout the 2 yr deal I got for a product recommended by CR. But now I can't print because the firewall is blocking my printer wireless connection. I've been struggling for 3 hrs to get it going. My printer mfg want to charge me for premium support to resolve the problem. Now G Data doens't look like a good deal after all. Their online help is just emailing in your problem. They ask for numbers that are not specified with those words in your email receipt so I have no idea if I am sending in the right stuff to them. What a waste of time and money. I will go back to Bitdefender which while more expensive was reliable and not incomprehensible. You failed me on this one, CR.

I installed this software on 4 computers and bought 3 years worth of service because of Consumer Reports high ratings. It was a total waste of time. I tried there tech support's recommendations to speed up the computers, but very limited benefit. Basically, you reduce your security to try to pick up a little speed. One technician finally recommended that I remove all components from all 4 computers and request a refund. After doing this, I was informed that it was too late for a refund. Wasted money! Do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere or just use AGV.
