I use this device primarily for reading books, web browsing, and checking email. I've begun to play with watching videos (tv, movies) on it but still prefer the large screen experience. It's light, convenient, and easy to use. <br /><br />I could wish that it could read Flash but its not a deal breaker, and the existing mail program has absolutely minimum ability to filter or sort mail--though if Apple techs and such put their minds to it, this could be corrected.<br /><br />Other surprising uses are the use of drawing programs, games that are suddenly more fun on a bigger screen than an iphone, and so forth. I even started my novel with this device, using a wireless keyboard accessory.

Got my iPad for Christmas and the whole family loves it. We use it all the time for playing games,making videos. Apps are great, only thing I don't like is the resolution on the camera.
