About This Brand
Apple jump-started the tablet market with its 10-inch iPad. Now in its fourth generation, the iPad uses Apple iOS, noteable for its intuitive interface and excellent app store. Apple recently introduced the 7.9-inch version of the iPad, the iPad Mini, which closely mimicks its larger sibling. The iPad and iPad Mini are also available with 4G service through AT&T, Sprint, and Verizon.

I use my IPad everyday. I use it for research, reading books and magazines, shopping, reading and sending email and playing a few games. I like my IPad because of its versatility; I can store it in my bag and whip it out as needed. Apple offers so many apps and the operating system is generally compatible with other systems. This is my 2nd tablet, I bought the very first IPad and gave it to my daughter to use when I bought the 4th generation model. I like the quality of the product and I hope to continue. I don't think that the tablet replaces a laptop I think the tablet is an enhancement to a laptop or desktop because of the portability of the tablet.

Comment:
I have the iPad 1, 2, and now 4. I was going to buy the third one but I read that there was a lot of problems with them. I mean they did not stay on the shelf long before the 4th generation came out. The thing I can say is Easy To Use, no matter who you buy this product for, they will like it and be able to use it. The amazing thing is that if you setup everything correctly, the devices can synch each other, imagine buying a movie and being able to access it from all iPads in the household or family, same as apps. As for features the is enough to satisfy an advanced user but they may want to go to an android system as you can configure more settings than the IPad

Use it for most everything now: email, instant messaging, ebooks, games, on line banking, and even buy and sell on my brokerage accounts.<br />Fairly new laptop is now barely used.
