What it is: The first BlackBerry geared to consumers rather than corporate customers. In addition to wireless e-mail and Internet access, this cell phone has multimedia capabilities.

Service provider: T-Mobile.

Price: $200, not including plans for data and voice services.

Available monthly plans for unlimited e-mail and Web access:
  • BlackBerry Unlimited, $30.
    Does not include voice or text-messaging service.
  • BlackBerry Minutes and Mail, $60.
    Includes 1,000 voice minutes and unlimited text messaging.
  • BlackBerry Minutes and Mail Ultra, $80.
    Includes 1,500 voice minutes and unlimited text messaging.
