About This Brand
Apple's latest models, the iPhone 6s and 6s Plus are considered an incremental change from the previous version. Two interesting new features include 3D Touch Display - a new twist on multi-touch display that takes into account how hard you press on the screen and for how long. This lets it perform an impressive array of tasks, without backing out of an app. Apple also bumped up the already great iPhone camera - jumping from 8 megapixels to 12, and adding for the first time, UltraHD video. One s-series feature is Live Photos. In this mode, still images you take will become animated for 3 seconds.

Touch screen These multi-touch display screens typically allow you to zoom in and out of Web pages or photos by pinching or spreading your fingers, which gives you optimal control. Some models let you write on the screen with your finger (or stylus) to jot down notes, draw, some even on images, Web pages, etc, which can be easily shared with others. Some displays have the added convenience of being sensitive enough to work while you’re wearing gloves.
QWERTY keyboard Smartphones have touch screens with virtual keyboards, though there are a few on the market with physical QWERTY keyboards. Some users may prefer the feedback and feel of the raised keys on a physical keyboard, qualities that make it easier to type without looking. But phones with physical QWERTY keyboards tend to be on the thick side, and the keyboards themselves may not be much better--or even as good--as the virtual keyboards on some of the latest phones. Virtual keyboards often let you customize their layouts, change input options, and keep features such as predictive text at your fingertips to help you type quickly and accurately. One downside to virtual keyboards is that they block a good portion of your phone’s display. Regardless of which keyboard you go with--real or virtual--make sure it has all the keys you’ll need, and that they are well spaced and easy to read under different lighting conditions.
Document editing Smartphones allow you to review documents, spreadsheets, and more. Some models add the convenience of creating, deleting, and editing them out of the box.
Music player Indicates the phone has a built-in MP3 player. Most players have full capabilities, allowing you to sort or view tracks according to genre, album or artist, playlists, etc. They also typically have more than one playback option, such as repeat and shuffle. The small number of phones that lack these convenient features are rather cumbersome to use.
Voice command This feature allows you dial numbers from your phone book by speaking the name, without the usual training. You can also dial numbers by pronouncing the digits.
GPS navigation All phones have some type of location-based technology to help emergency responders find you when you dial 911. Phones that support GPS Navigation services conveniently integrate GPS with maps and search engines to give you real-time, spoken, turn-by-turn directions to an entered address, or to help you find nearby businesses by name or category, such as Joe's Pizzeria or hospitals. We indicate which phones have GPS navigation capability. The service for nearly all models doesn’t cost extra, but on some models it can cost extra.
LTE Indicates the phone supports a 4G LTE (Long-Term Evolution) data network.
Wi-Fi These phones have built-in Wi-Fi that gives them fast Internet and e-mail access through home networks and Wi-Fi hotspots. Phones can use the connection to share content, or make calls using Voice over Internet Protocol, though the latter may not be available from all providers.

Phone is junk.
I use it for phone calls mostly, occasionally use navigation, browser. I am not 100% sure if my problems are the fault of the phone or the t-mobile service. Almost every call is very garbled on the other end, meaning when it happens i cannot hear the person I'm talking to but they can hear me. Almost every call gets dropped in addition to the garbling. I very frequently cannot even make a call, get the message call failed. Complained to t-mobile and they gave me a wifi cellspot router to install in my house, which if their service and the phone worked, i shouldnt even need. So, i am pretty much an unhappy customer at this point. So i have basically stopped making calls on it. I use my landline for all local and 800 calls and have to take my chances on long distance calls. ALL of my family live in other states, so i dont talk to them much these days. Just want to note that I am equally impressed with my ipad.

IPhone 5 C was purchased for a responsible 13 year old girl. Her first phone! 2 months she dropped it less than 2 ft. on bedroom floor. Screen cracked right across the top corner. Took to store but they don't warranty or repair. Recommended repair shop. Took phone and got it fixed. Bought a cover to keep phone in. She put phone in her book bag, took to school. She said she dropped book bag on the floor by her desk about a foot. When she took phone out after school screen was again broken even with cover. I have an IPhone 5 which has never had a problem and has been dropped many times.
