Comment:
Bought it because Consumer Report rated it one of best and could not believe price was so low at Best Buy.
Compared to our last set this Vtech phone display is very difficult to read. This is a big problem for us because we use call display, messages and missed calls.

I am bringing this cordless set back again, to Walmart. This is the second V tech cordless handset. The first stopped working and now this one. Is displaying no line, and has dropped calls. After paying 75 dollar in service fee's. To Cox Communications my phone carrier. It was reported as bad equipment again. I paid over $40. 00 dollars for this expandable set. I am really wondering, if I will purchase another V-tech phone. When I signed up for the digital phone service. I was given a v-tech set to use through my modem. I am really not happy. This was a company with a decent brand. not anymore! it seems.

Comment:
Worst product in the market. You do not have to be a test expert to see that through. Unfortunately, I got stuck with it (my wife bought it 4 months ago with the intention to give it as a present to a friend but changed her mind.... we forgot to return it, and have been using it for just a month now)
When pressing any key it feels abnormal, with a delay in response - worst tactile response I have ever come across on a phone!
Batteries on both handsets need to be replaced (after 1+ month of occassional use)- they now last for about 1.5 hr (with no use of speakerphone)and do not charge fully. Battery cost? $19.95/ea. + $4.99 shipping. Called the company and after troubleshooting for over an hour (with incompetent tech), he did not offer any final solution.
Thanks CR.... thanks for your recommendation... for another yet bad product!
