Comment:
The battery is supposed to last 7 hours of read time, but if you are lucky it lasts 2 hours of reading time,it freezes, will sometimes not turn off, or, then again, will not turn on.<br />You can not transfer books from other e-readers that you may own, even from your computer to the Vox
How long have you owned it:

Comment:
I read every day on the commute to and from home. Very easy to read. Not easy to know how far along I am in reading the book. I can't flip forward and go back to the same place unless I memorize where that is. In other words, poor bookmarking system.

Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.

Comment:
the charger is cracked & apparently can't be replaced. The Kobo people say they do not sell replacement chargers but you can use a Blackberry Bold 3 charger which, according to the 10 stores we've checked, doesn't exist. Some of the stores went out of their way to open boxes & try various chargers to no avail. If you can't buy a replacement it is basically something you wouldn't buy if you knew that in advance.

Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
