Guide to the Ratings
Overall score is based mainly on voice quality, talk time, and ease of use. Listening scores voice quality for incoming calls; Talking, for outgoing calls. Talk time, rounded to the nearest quarter-hour, is how long a headset can handle calls on a fully charged battery. Ease of use reflects conveniences including fit, key access, and instruction manual clarity. A low-battery alert sounds when the battery is running low. Mic mute prevents the caller from hearing what you say, but allows you to hear the caller. Call hold blocks communication to and from the headset without hanging up. A dedicated pairing key simplifies initial setup of the headset with the phone.
