A good tv but has limitations not listed
3d Image Is Crisp
Good Relative Price
highly reflective screen
Magic Remote Limited
Optical Output Sucks
Best Uses
A good buy for the options you get but beware of limitations.
The images in all modes seem clear and motion is fairly smooth. Sound is not that good but this is to be expected. Having said that the optical output is worthless as it does not support 5.1 surround, I messed with the settings and called support twice and finally got them to admit the optical output is no better that a composite output. If you want surround you better have a HDMI ARC supported audio system or wireless input audio system. This doesn't seem to be a big deal because I use a set top box that outputs audio in optical 5.1 ac3. The problem is when you use the smart functions to watch programming like Netflix through the TV.
The magic remote has few buttons which seems like a positive but requires you to go through extra steps every time you want to access say your set top box. According to tech support the remote will only operate one additional component other than the television.
Lastly, the screen is highly reflective, to compensate for this I mounted it fairly high ( top of TV is 7 feet off floor) and I used a tilting wall mount and tilted it upward. This took care of the problem and didn't hinder viewing.
How long have you owned it:
A month or less
Bottom Line
Yes, I would recommend this to a friend.
