About - Vizio E320i-A0

The Vizio E320i-A0 is a 32-inch LCD HDTV with a native resolution of 1366x768 (720p). It has LED backlighting, which allows the panel to use less energy than conventional fluorescent backlighting. Many new TVs now have a higher frame rate that's designed to reduce the motion blur that's a shortcoming of LCD technology.

This model is Internet-enabled and can access online content, including streaming movie services. It has an Ethernet jack for connecting to your home network via a cable. This TV is also Wi-Fi capable, so you can connect it to your home network wirelessly. Its DLNA certification enables you to view digital photos stored on a compatible computer, phone, or other mobile device also connected to your home network.

There are 3 HD-capable inputs: 2 HDMI and 1 component-video, which can also be used as composite-video. It also has a USB port, which may allow you to plug in a thumb drive or memory card reader so you can play the stored photos, videos, and music on the TV.

The Vizio E320i-A0 measures 19.25 inches high by 28.74 inches wide by 7.46 inches deep, including its base. The panel itself is 3.34 inches thick including any protrusions, and the screen has a near matte finish. The bezel framing the screen is gloss black.

The warranty on this TV covers parts/labor for 12/12 months, respectively.

About This Brand

From a humble start just a few years ago, Vizio has grown to become one of the top-selling TV brands. It's wide range of LCD TVs is available directly from its website, and from a wide range of retailers, including mass-merchandisers, warehouse stores and clubs, and retailers such as Sears and Target. While Vizio TVs are generally sold at lower prices than other mainstream brands, the company also offers higher-featured, Smart, LED-based passive-3D TVs. Vizio has also recently introduced the first 21:9 widescreen LCD TV offered in the U.S.

Comment:
As a balanced comment to the handicapped peron's 2 stars: My daughter and husband have had 2 Vizio TV's - for years (consecutively)a decade. Granted, I am not the primary owner- but I and they have share enough experience. Son-in-law has the Vizio connected to the internet- so it's much more than a TV. The 2nd TV was purchased only because he wanted a larger one.
-- So let's not have one man's poor experience spoil other buyers' considerations to purchase a Vizio. I am buying the Vizio E320i-Ao today, so I have confidence in the brand.
~ I will update you in a few months.

Comment:
I have owned two VIZIO LCD televisions and both have failed shortly after the warranty expired. I am a disabled physics engineer and very familiar with this technology. The components used for the construction of these units are of such marginal quality that their lasting abilities are marginal at best. I am paralyzed and this inconveniences me considerably. Do not buy a VIZIO LCD television.
