Impressive Plasma
5/25/2013
Pros
Easy setup
Excellent sound
Great color and clarity
Cons
Voice Control Not Perfect
Best Uses
Comment:
Unlike other reviewers, I had no problems with Netflix or other Smart TV features. The motion control and voice control could use some work. Overall, this TV has impressive picture and sound. Guests often give it a wow comment after seeing the picture. Although CR reports only fair brightness, I have had no trouble with the set right next to large windows. In fact, the non-reflective screen reduces glare compared to LED/LCD TVs.

Netflix Won't Work with this TV
4/13/2013
Pros
Excellent Picture
good streaming
Cons
Netflix Won't Work
Smart Hub Not So Hot
Best Uses
Comment:
Despite endless telephone exchanges with both Samsung and Netflix, unable to get Netflix working on this TV. Also bought a 3D Samsung smart Bluray player, and Netflix doesn't work on it either. Purchased a $99 LG Bluray, and finally I can watch Netflix on this otherwise excellent plasma TV. Would recommend opting for a non-smart TV from this brand.

Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Serious Security Issue With Network Conn
2/2/2013
Pros
Great picture
Cons
Can't Delete Router Pswd
Best Uses
Comment:
Because the smart hub had so many issues, I decided to return this TV. I reset the TV to the defaults but it would not let me delete my network connections including the password to my wireless router. I contacted Samsung and they confirmed my only choice was to change my password on my router. That means I have to change my computers, cellphones, Ipads and all my children have to change their devices that use my router when they come to visit just because Samsung never thought about when you get rid of the TV.
How long have you owned it:
A month or less
Bottom Line
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
