I really wanted the LG 26, but so few stores carry it, and I do not like waiting for things. This TV was on sale and was close in price to the LG. I saw the review on CR, and decided to buy it. It has a great picture, but what really amazes me is the sound clarity. I have some other flat screens that have pretty poor sound, I will be swapping this one into an area that I watch quite a bit of TV for this reason. Also, this TV has a very large, stable base.
