Worst bacon I've purchased in years

This is hands down the worst bacon I've purchased in at least 10 years. Paper thin, incredibly fatty, totally lacking in flavor (other than salt). Most of this is going in the garbage as it's not worth wasting the energy needed to cook it.

...so by the time the completed bacon is ready to cook, the sugar is gone. yes, there is sugar, and yes, if you're diabetic you should be careful, but sugar is a part of making bacon (even organic nitrate-free bacon). the carbs are 0 on the label because net carbs are 0 after the curing process. bacon can be made at home without sugar, but it's a complicated week-long process of marinating, daily turnings, and weight being applied to squeeze out the liquid.
